  9:00AM 4:00PM Old Mill Days   Montauk’s Old Mill Days is a free, two-day, annual event that celebrates Montauk’s old grist mill and the rich local heritage of pre-1920 Ozarks. Join us Friday for an educational presentation of 1800’s skills and craft, where historic crafters demonstrate their skills and even sell their historic wares. Then, come back Saturday for the addition of more artisans selling more modern handmade crafts and art! You also won't want to miss the unique music and other entertainment offered both days. Some of the demonstrators presented this year include: Archery, Basketry, Bee Keeping, Bullets and black powder, Cane chairs, Chuck Wagons, Clothing, Historic Fish Gigging and bow fishing, Old time Furniture, Hunting Calls, Knives, Leather Work, historic Logging, Looming, Mandolin & Dulcimer Maker, Maple Syrup Making, whiskey still, Paper Making, Pottery, Quilting, Rag weaving, Tin ware, Woodcarving, and more!
 
  7:00AM 1:00PM Native Plant Sale at Rolla Downtown Farmers Market   The Meramec Hills Chapter of the Missouri Master Naturalists is partnering with the Phelps County Master Gardeners to offer a plant sale at the Rolla Downtown Farmers Market located at 901 N. Elm Street on May 13th from 7:00am to 1:00pm. Meramec Hills Chapter members will have perennial native plants from wildflowers to shrubs available for purchase along with educational materials while the Phelps County Master Gardeners will have ornamental annuals and perennials along with vegetable starts.
